Pittsford Alliance for Substance-Free Youth

The Pittsford Alliance for Substance-Free Youth proactively supports Pittsford parents with knowledge, skills and tools to influence youth to choose substance-free lifestyles.

It is our vision that the Pittsford community embraces our mission and takes action to eliminate substance abuse.

A NEW

Underage Drinking Tipline

1-800-851-1932

"You know you care, make the call"

A 24-hour anonymous, confidential Underage Drinking Tipline has recently been created for people living in Genesee, Monroe, Orleans, and Wyoming counties. Call the tipline at 1-800-851-1932 (toll-free) or (585) 343-1932 (long distance charges may apply) to report underage drinking parties or other activities that are harmful to the health, safety, and/or welfare of young people.

The Regional Action Phone, Inc. (RAP), a 24-hour crisis hotline, has teamed up with the Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. RAP runs 7 days a week. Operators take the calls and then notify 911 dispatchers, who send police to the scene of the suspected party. The line is TTY capable and interpreters of 144 different languages and dialects are available.

By calling the anonymous tipline, a difference can be made, tragedy diverted and lives saved. Make the call!

Community Forum

On April 2, 2008, our alliance sponsored a community forum, called "Underage Drinking: Solutions are Everyone's Responsibility." This forum explored the consequences of alcohol and drug use and how individuals, families and communities can work together to address these problems.
